A radial raised hub in the bottom of the glass acts provides the person holding the glass a powerful tool to quickly aerate your wine. Rotating your glass clockwise provides a slower, more subtle pace; rotating counterclockwise creates a turbo-like effect, rapidly and substantially increasing oxidation—it’s claimed that a few spins can proximate four years of aging.
